    Excellent service, stunning car, advisories from previous mot had been carried out by dealership before being put on sale. Very helpful salesman, 18 months warranty, couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended.

    Have used this garage for services and MOTs for a while now.Very helpful, all staff great. Receptionist lovely.Dropped car off to get loads of work done yesterday.Very swift, kept me informed, picked car up, no nonsense.

    Purchased a vehicle from this place and the process didnt really run smoothly, some forseen, some not so much. Starting on day 1:1) Noted that rh brake light wasnt working on test drive - was supposed to be fixed upon collection, was not. In fairness to them they took it to their garage unit and fixed while we waited.2) Noted upon getting it home that despite having had service, oil level was at bottom mark. Had to put an entire litre in to get it up to the top mark.3) Car was pulling to the left quite heavily from day of purchase (probably following track rod end replacement pre purchase). Took it to Kwik fit a few days later for full tracking which was badly needed, they also found 1 x tyre was so worn on the inner edge as to be dangerous, which i paid to replace. They also said how corroded the rear shocks were and i went to look, indeed a big chunk of the shock body came off in my hand on looking. New shocks were ordered but never fitted.4) Car began to not start in cold weather (Which in fairness they could not have predicted). Was taken back for glow plugs which appeared to solve the issue, car taken back same day. I had a courtesy car which was actually appreciated.5) Car began to again not start in cold weather, taken back. This time they had the car for 15 days, I had a courtesy car in fairness though it was warning of an airbag fault which was a bit worrying, but by the 15 day point I had endured quite enough.Now the big one:6) Took the courtesy car back and said that I wanted my money back. In fairness Gill (Who had been helpful) went to get the salesman. He wouldn't come. So i asked again to hear the man swearing about me from the other end of the workshop. He then approaches me and says i will have to wait several days for it and if that wasnt ok then to take him to (expletive) court. This was totally un-necessary and absolutely unacceptable. I suffer with an anxiety condition and it is very hard for me to lose my temper, but this man absolutely triggered me. He should not be in a customer facing role. One might suggest that there was an element of waiting involved to claim on the warranty after the 30 day period..... I said to gill that I wanted the money bank transferred back as I had no desire to come face to face with the salesman again......in fairness to them this was done 2 days before stated, about the only aspect of this scenario that went smoothly.unfortunately it didnt end there:7) I had to notify the warranty company that I was no longer the registered keeper - read into that what you will.8) I notified the DVLA by special delivery letter that I was no longer the registered keeper, as over a month later the DVLA had recieved no such notification.So in summary1) Gill was as helpful as she could be, appeared to have some customer service accumen.2) The salesman was a deeply unpleasant fellow who actually severely affected my mental illness for days, to the point where I had to take emergency meds. Based on other reviews here I would suggest that this is not an isolated incident. Bullying clients is no way to proceed in business and is totally and wholly unacceptable. As someome who was in a customer facing role for years I would have expected dismissal for such behaviour.3) Lack of attention to detail technically runs through this whole process also, low oil levels and non working lights are basic things that should not be occurring.4) Gill seemed to be the only one wanting to help, along with a couple of garage staff.Not a good experience, I won't be going back and I would advise anyone considering purchasing not to as well!

    Quite rude. I requested a viewing, and although I admit I got there at the last minute, the way he told me off was like having to deal with prison staff. They're definitely in the wrong business. I'm wondering how they will deal with people if they have to face warranty claims. No chance going to them even if they give away for free.

    I am a great believer in making your own mind up about a company when you deal with them as you only ever hear one side of the story on these types of reviews. No company will keep 100 percent of people happy no matter what they do it's just not possible. All i will say is this that i have been dealing with joe and windmill now for almost 18 years,have bought 9 vehicles from them over that time and have been over the moon with the sales and workshop service i have recieved,cars are always spotless,serviced and warranted and always go to them for the servicing,mot's ect,i'm over 65 now but hopefully will still be around to have many more years great service from them.well done team.
